Mercury is going off the Charts this summer and what better time it is to chill and and enjoy on a peaceful Hill station which won't be too much heavy on your pocket. i have compiled a list of hill stations that you can visit in this season of vacations with your kids or with your friends.
The Northern Region
If you are planning to visit a Hill Station in Northern Region then these are my Picks for a wonderful Vacation.
1. Manali, Himachal Pradesh
The most visited hill station in India is Manali, and if you haven't then it is a great chance for you to visit this heaven that everyone can enjoy. With its Snow Covered Mountains in all directions it is a feast to the eyes. There are a lot of Sports activities one can perform there :-
1. Para Gliding
2. River Crossing
3. River Rafting
4. Trekking
5. Skiing(only from December to April or May)

2. Nainital, Uttarakhand
One of the most visited hill stations is Nainital. It is located in a valley with a Beautiful Lake in Between. It is also known as 'The Lake District Of India' . It is Located in the kumoan Range covered with lush green Forests. One can enjoy Boating, Kayaking in the lake and admire the beauty of nature.
Jim Corbett is a Tiger Sanctuary located in these Mountains which is also a popular attraction in these mountain Ranges.

3. Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir

4. Binsar, Uttarakhand
Want this view? Then Binsar is the place. It is small town situated in the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and gives you a view of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Panchachuli, and Nanda Kot. Binsar Sanctaury is a must visit as it offers some beautiful Birds and Rare Plant Species.

North Eastern Region
The Seven Sisters also offers some great options if you Don't want to experience Snow in Hill Stations.
